Ok, so I managed to solo flame thrower for the first time this week. First run I finished with 14 minutes to spare and none of my main characters died (though I lost two catapults). I did two successful runs that night. They were both flawless. Last night I tried again. The only difference between runs was that my sheriff had a borrowed +10 Nix armor, and this run she had a +4 DG armor. However, both runs I failed. First run I got down to the wire, but I needed maybe another minute to finish. Second run was just bs. I got mobbed before I could even take out the summon portal. All characters where killed in one turn. I just tried hidden. Failed. Ran out of time again. I have a friend who has very similar armor/equipment and he has no problems with it. Our strategy is the same (as we ran Flame and Hidden together since November). What I've found to be the biggest problem is the invisible mob bug. One turn I'm moving in position and healing, next turn I have 6 mobs around me that I didn't see coming. I'm hitting inconsistantly, missing very dire shots, leaving mobs with fraction of health. I use Sushi Feast, Bard/Blessed/Energizer titles. Main has Evil armor pieces at +1 and a +6 evil cannon. Sheriff has +1-+2 DG armor pieces w/ +4 DG Light Armor and +10 DG Gun. Oracle has +0-+1 Dragon God Pieces and a +2 staff. All are double equiped with +10 rings of endurance except my main which has +8 Ring of Sacrifice and +10 Ring of endurance. I don't understand how I can go from 2 flawless runs to 3 failed runs. I think it's total BS!
